Applications of the HP 48/49 series

The HP 48/49 series of calculators are a very versatile tool for use in mathematics, science and engineering. Its applications are virtually endless due to the versatility of the operating system and the large amount of memory in the more advanced models.

Here we will try and document and illustrate the applications for the calculator and try to share some of the knowledge in using and programming the calculators for specific purposes. Programming samples would also be helpful.
